Little Badgers Nursery can accommodate 24 children in each session. Children may start in the Nursery from the term after they turn 2 years 6 months, however we have a limited number of 2 year old spaces and the majority of children start the turn after they turn 3.
Registering for a place
Parents wishing to apply for a place in the Nursery will need to complete an application form. This expresses their interest and will put your child on the waiting list.
You may request a visit to the Nursery either before you register or before you are asked to accept a place for your child. Please contact the school office to make an appointment 01252 837538.
Once an admission form is completed, parents will be contacted as soon as possible during the summer term for September intake.
The nursery does not give priority to the school at Reception age and parents are required to apply for spaces for Reception Classes through the Surrey County Council website. It does however help those children who do come to the main school with the transition and allows the children to become familiar both with the staff and surroundings as they start their Reception year.
The deadline for September 2020 admissions has already passed (1st March 2020) and we are currently making offers. If you would like to be added to our waiting list please complete an application form and return it to the school office. Once the September 2020 children have started, we will then start making offers for the January 2021 intake.
Please see our admission policy for information on place allocation.
Families will be offered an induction session where parents can stay and play with their child. This will give the child the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the setting and meet the staff. We will contact parents once we have received Government guidelines for opening the school and nursery again.
