Curriculum Plans

We have developed long term plans using the Foundation Stage and National Curriculum.  This ensures both continuity and progression throughout the school in all areas of the curriculum. All classes have a timetable to follow, which ensures that all areas of the curriculum have the appropriate time allocated to them.  These timetables are displayed on the notice board outside each classroom, a copy is also sent home with each child.

We have developed a creative approach to our curriculum and have linked the foundation subjects together under a half termly topic. These include Geography, History, Art, Design Technology and Music. We have planned in both visits and visitors to make the learning more real, first hand and relevant.
